Spaces for Future-Ready Thinking & Action
Rooted in the shared conviction of its founders and early contributors, Haus Europa is built on the belief that this is the time to collectively rethink leadership, innovation, and care for our common future.
It takes courage to question, spaces to reimagine, and trust to build what doesn’t yet exist – anchored by a future-ready mindset that learns and adapts.
Haus Europa was born from this moment – with a desire to bring together people from different countries, sectors, generations, and perspectives to explore what innovation and leadership can look like in service of the common good.
In moments of challenge, Viktor Frankl’s words offer a powerful reminder: “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”

From Dialogue to Doing
Haus Europa holds that deep thinking and disciplined questioning are essential – but different from just talking. There are already many places to talk. What we need more of are spaces to think rigorously, then create, build, and cultivate.
Haus Europa aspires to be a Do Tank and a Catalyst Lab for tangible progress. It won’t just generate and share knowledge; it will bring together a diverse, action-oriented community to learn from one another, challenge assumptions, and co-develop meaningful innovations. The aim: concrete actions and projects with real-world impact.
As Franz Kafka reminds us: “Paths are made by walking.”

North Star & Systemic Thinking
The “North Star” symbolizes clarity, purposeful direction, and steadfast commitment – clarity that steadies action when conditions shift – just as the star once guided travelers through uncertainty. Guided by systemic thinking, Haus Europa helps innovators see interdependencies, anticipate second-order effects, and design interventions that create systemic high added value: net positive outcomes that compound across people, organizations, and place over time.
This journey begins in Tux, Tyrol – an Alpine setting where reflection comes naturally and new thinking takes root.
We take heart in Václav Havel’s reminder that renewal starts within: “The salvation of this human world lies nowhere else than in the human heart, in the human power to reflect, in human meekness, and in human responsibility.”

Cooperation across borders & sectors
Cross-sector, cross-border collaborations through an inclusive dialogue that leads to co-creation and adoption, not just talk, with an emphasis on future-ready systemic high-added-value solutions.
“Borders I have never seen one. But I have heard they exist in the minds of some people.” – Thor Heyerdahl
Broad engagement that moves to adoption

From Ideas to Impact: Implementing Systemic Innovations
What got us here won’t get us there. Creating future-ready innovations requires evolving our thinking beyond old paradigms toward systemic solutions.

“
What got us here won’t get us there.
The remedy? Evolution of thinking toward systemic innovations and understanding of cause-and-effect relationships.
The mission of Haus Europa is to make change stick; by developing doers and makers who turn innovation into real-world results that shift the status quo, with technology as a partner and human judgment in charge.”
